About Robert Ashton

Robert Ashton has been a professional photographer for over 18 years. He was born in 1969 in Huddersfield & studied photography at Blackpool & the Fylde College (1987 to 1990). He moved to London to pursue his photographic career & remained there for 15 years until returning to Huddersfield in 2005.

While working in London Robert undertook various types of work including still life, portraiture & food photography.

Now relocated back in his home town of Huddersfield Robert specializes in creating stunning photographic images of your children, pets & animals.

Robert's portrait photography is shot on location in Yorkshire, Lancashire & Derbyshire. If you are outside this region but are interested in commissioning Robert then please contact him to discuss this further.

As well as shooting the private portraits Robert also undertakes commercial photographic commissions. Robert also runs his own online image library & art gallery called Massive Pixels & with the aid of recent grant from the Arts Council of England he also regularly exhibits in Leeds, Manchester & Huddersfield.
